The Flagrante Choir was originally formed in 2016 as a choir comprised of the South West London Bench magistrates, but we have since broadened our horizons to include members from the entire local community, creating a diverse and welcoming environment for all.
We are fortunate to have the talented Eamonn O’Dwyer as our Musical Director. His expertise not only instructs and inspires us but also shines through in the arrangements of the fantastic music we perform, ranging from classical to contemporary pieces.
Our rehearsals take place every Tuesday evening from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the prestigious Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club, located in the scenic Old Deer Park area at Twickenham Road, TW9 2SB. Each year, we operate on three distinct terms, typically spanning around 12 weeks, which helps us prepare thoroughly for our performances.
Annually, we organize two major concerts that showcase our hard work and musical growth. Notably, in 2017, we hosted a unique 'pop-up' event at the bustling Kings Cross Station, where we engaged with travelers and shared our music in a lively urban setting.
