A Christmas Carol by In Flagrante
In Flagrante is now resting their vocal chords until 11 January 2022, but here is our Christmas Carol story:
Christmas Past In 2018 our choir had a Christmas concert with Elliot Clay as our Musical Director and pianist. We sang traditional carols such as In the Bleak Mid Winter and Hark the Herald Angels Sing, plus popular songs like Let it Snow and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. We even sang Carol of the Bells and ‘Somewhere in My Memory’
from the movie Home Alone. It was a wonderful atmosphere. Georgia Louise https://cfrycentrestage.wordpress.com/2019/07/23/interview-georgia-louise/ sang a lovely Christmas Lullaby.
Christmas Present Unfortunately, we were unable to perform in concert this year, but an impromptu singing of Christmas songs at our final meeting of the year was great fun. The canapes and a glass or two of wine added to the occasion. Christmas Future Looking forward to 2022 when we will be in good voice singing Christmas songs old and new next Christmas, but this will be after we have performed two more concerts in March and July. For now “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year”
